At Nationwide Power, we pride ourselves on putting safety and quality at the top of our priority list, and it’s with great pride that we can announce another year in the books with zero safety incidents.

Congratulations to our quarterly safety drawing winners: Becca in Accounting, Andrew from Warehouse, and Jay and Brian from our Field Engineer Team.

Also, a big thanks to our Director of Training, Tighe Robey, for keeping our national team on point with annual online, classroom and on-the-job safety training.

In the critical power industry, our field engineer and warehouse teams encounter potentially dangerous situations daily, and it is with great care and caution that our entire team is able to achieve our safety goals year after year.

The Salesperson of the Year Award goes to…. Terry Westergard!

During the 2019 Power Summit, Terry Westergard was named Sales Person of the Year, based on her achievements in growing new business.

Terry is the newest member of the Nationwide Power Sales team, joining in June 2014. Ryan Murphy, National Sales Manager, was honored to present the Sales Person of the Year award to Terry, as he adds, “With over 14 years in critical power sales, we were lucky to snag Terry when we did. Terry really focuses on quality, service, and educating the customer, and with that, has developed long-term customer relationships based on trust and follow-through.”

And here’s what Terry had to say: “I’m honored to receive this award. Nationwide Power has allowed me to take my career to the highest level in this Industry. I’m very fortunate for the superb team that professionally supports my customers and myself. Nationwide Power believes in quality first and doing what is right for our customers. ‘Determination today = Success tomorrow’”.

The National Sales team, as a whole achieved record-breaking numbers in 2018 and has big goals to hit in 2019. During this time each year – the annual Power Summit – the National Sales team comes together to connect, collaborate and cheer each other on. With their continued focus on quality and service, it should be another great year!

As a part of our holiday tradition, the corporate team at Nationwide Power came together to celebrate another successful year. Each year, Nationwide Power selects a local business to support, and this year’s location was at the family-owned Italian restaurant, Giuseppe’s, located in Henderson, NV.

There was a lot to celebrate this season. Year after year, we see continued growth that could not be possible without a team as committed as ours is to quality, service and innovation. Over the years, we have received multiple growth and recognition awards from our OEM partners, as well our most recent shout out from Eaton just last quarter.

And the most important thing we come together to celebrate – our team. Each year, we steadily build a team that just feels like family.

Here are some fun facts about Nationwide Power:
2001: Opened for business and sold our first Eaton Powerware UPS system.
2003: With the growing need for independent service providers in the industry, Nationwide Power opened the service department.
2007: Thanks to continued growth, we required larger space and better warehouse capacity. We moved to Henderson, NV, occupying 21,000 square feet of office and warehouse space.
2013: Opened our doors to our industry leading 57,000 square foot warehouse and state of the art testing facility with over 1 MW of power.
2013 – present: Year after year we achieve a 96% + Customer Satisfaction Rating

Nothing says fall like a company chili-cookoff!  Chili, cornbread, pellet smoked bacon-wrapped dogs, and all the right toppings.   

We were really hoping to see the Wienermobile show up…  maybe next year.

The judges had a pretty challenging task ahead of them in narrowing down the winners to just the top three.  You see, much like the care and focus on quality that the Nationwide Power team brings to work every day, that same level of care and commitment to quality went into brewing up the perfect batch of chili; and such a competitive group they are!

As difficult of a task that it was, the winners have been announced!

Dani Toothman receives the Eaton 9PXM Sales Award for September 2018

This past September, Eaton Corp. released its 9PXM product line to replace the 9170 series. Along with the 9PXM product launch, Eaton Corp. ran a national sales competition among its independent distributors and resellers for the most registered deals during the first month of the 9PXM product launch. Dani Toothman, Nationwide Power’s Equipment Specialist, was the recipient of this award.

Dani was excited to receive the 9PXM Sales Award. In describing the Eaton 9PXM product line, she notes, “I’m a big fan of the Eaton’s newest series. The Eaton 9PXM is a modular unit and is one of the most adaptable and reliable pieces of equipment on the market right now.” With over 15 years in the critical power industry, Dani has helped thousands of companies find the best UPS solution to fit their individual needs.
